Water supply equipment is designed to address domestic water needs in rural areas, enhancing both convenience and health in rural living. When installing such equipment, the following requirements must be observed.

1. Water supply equipment shall be installed in a well-ventilated location free from severe dust contamination, with a dry floor surface and ambient temperatures ranging from -10°C to 40°C. Equipment installed outdoors shall incorporate adequate rainproofing and lightning protection measures.

2. To facilitate the installation and maintenance of the water supply equipment, it is advisable to leave a clearance of 70 centimetres around the perimeter prior to installation, with a 1.5-metre clearance reserved at the manhole access point. To prevent water accumulation from damaging the equipment, drainage channels should be installed around the perimeter of the ground where the water supply equipment is installed.

3. As the water supply equipment includes a corresponding tank, the material for constructing the tank support base must be selected.

4. Prior to commissioning the water supply equipment, close the supply valve and inspect all sealing valves to ensure there are absolutely no leaks. When starting the equipment, pay close attention to the direction of rotation of the pump. The pump will automatically cease operation when the pressure gauge needle reaches the upper limit. Opening the supply valve will restore normal water flow. For scheduled water supply, switch the selector to the manual position.

5. Following the initial installation of water supply equipment, subsequent maintenance and upkeep must be diligently performed. Regular inspections of the pump units should be conducted, with scheduled servicing and lubrication carried out. Prior to each operational cycle, meticulously examine all relevant components for damage; any anomalies must be addressed promptly.

6. Should any paint flaking be observed on the water supply equipment tank, it should be promptly repainted to maintain its condition and extend its service life.
